In the coming years we are aiming to build one of Europe’s largest networks of purpose- built mountain bike trails at Høgevarde. The goal is for Høgevarde and Flå to become a leading destination for mountainbiking, nationally and internationally.
The company World Trail is developing the trails. World Trail is one of the largest and most experienced MTB trail companies in the world, and is internationally known as the builders behind the “world’s best” trail bike facility in Blue Derby, Tasmania (ref. Norwegian mountainbike magazine “Terrengsykkel”, Nov 2019). World Trail has also designed and constructed every World Cup, World Championship, Olympic and Enduro World Series course in Australia. The Høgevarde/Flå project has already started and we are excited to see the results!
Several trails are already open, and the network will grow rapidly over the coming years.
